SO THIS IS A MOD APP FOR created by the vundervell I didn't have time to add in shading too much (Other than the tiger shark pattern).

ANYWAYS. ON TO THE INFO.

Height/size: 11 ft in length/ 6 ft when human (If human?)

Likes: Eating, food, chewing, meat, smell of blood, doing whatever he wants/freedom, pearls, pearl/bone/coral carving, drawing tattoos, warm temperatures

Dislikes: Being hungry, choking on little pin bones, 'vegetables' aka seaweed/kelp, obligations, crying/weakness, his human form, human clothing, using/relying on 'made' weapons, being looked down upon, and his sister.

Weaknesses: Bloodlust (lack of control/judgement), Slow runner, drastically weakened jaw/arm strength in human form, cold waters (makes him sluggish), social relationships/working with others :/

Strengths: Iron stomach, Strong jaws/teeth, Fast/powerful swimmer, Excellent eyesight and vibrational/bio-electric field sensory, 'art', being an ass and scaring others.

Personality: Kolohe is at the top of the food chain. Not only does he know this he LOVES it. Charismatic, bold, and a capricious rogue with deadly pride, he draws in others with the kind of awe and horror that one has for a twelve car pile up. It's absolutely frightening but you can't bring yourself to look away. Highly curious and intelligent despite his voracious appetite, he has an interest in the arts, making knick knacks and piercings of bone and pearls just to keep his hands and mind busy when not focused on his next meal.

Highly temperamental and finicky, one can go from 'friend' to 'prey' in the matter of moments, and on nothing more than just a whim. However he does have his pride as a shark and maintains a warped sense of honor that keeps him from picking on anyone that 's too far beneath his notice. On the other hand his pride can be a double-edged sword and if you challenge it enough he will unleash his anger to the fullest of his ferocity. The merman has no concept of holding back or restraint.

History: Born in the subtropics of Diamantina, he was the youngest of a group of 7. His mother thought him to be the smallest and weakest of the brood before leaving her young to fend for themselves. However the moment he and his siblings were old enough to develop personalities he was immediately identified as the dominant child. He would mentally and physically torture his brothers and sisters, earning himself the name 'Kolohe' or 'naughty rascal'. Making sure he got the best of everything, the runt grew into the largest and ruthless predator in the area, terrifying even his own family.

However this did not sit well with his siblings, especially his eldest sister, who convinced the rest of his family to plot his murder. He was set to be ambushed while sleeping but due to a timely and convenient intrusion by their mother, the attack failed. Though he was not surprised, he was furious that they would attempt such a thing and killed all of his siblings, sparing only his youngest sister, who would be the most traumatized by the event. Indeed she went insane and he kept her in a pit to keep her from tearing everything around her apart.

Watching his sister go mad finally made him feel the faintest twinges of remorse and he went out in search of a distraction to alleviate his guilt. For a while fulfilling his every whim and desire worked, but he could not completely forget about his sister. Seeking advice from a sea-witch he learned about becoming human and wondered if starting a new life on land would work. Focusing all his attention on how to become human he eventually discovered an old ritual that would grant him the power to walk on land.

It was a messy process, but he succeeded in becoming human, and he quickly went out in search of a new life. But alas! He was stunned to find what a weak creature he had become! His physical strength was diminished! His life span shortened! He came to find that unlike in the sea where he was an apex predator, on land he was just like any other man (albiet with oddly colored hair). Disgusted he tried to return to becoming a merman, but he was horrified to find that he could not. For the first time in his life he felt fear and he devoted his attention to finding a way to go back.

In the meantime he lived amongst humans, developing a hatred for them as he was bullied and pushed around. The irony was not lost upon him and he was able to cultivate some sort of empathy for those he himself had tortured in the past. Still, he was not one to be humbled, and eventually he did discover a way to return to his merman form (but at a great cost).

Once a merman he returned to his sister, who was near death while he had been away. He used the magic of becoming human on his sister, wiping her memory in the process and left her on the shores of a nearby island for people to find and take care of. Once in a while he himself will travel on land, checking up on her condition and in the meanwhile wrecking vengeance on humans where he can, but for the most part he stays in the warm tropic waters of Thalassa (near the island his sister lives on), doing as he pleases, and causing havoc for whoever he feels like terrorizing.

Misc:

-He will eat anything. Including other sharks and other merpeople. Hell sometimes he just chews on whatever just for the sake or action of chewing.

- The shark tooth necklace around his neck is made from his siblings. One tooth for each one he killed.

-He tells a different story about his scars each time anyone is brave enough to ask how he got them. Which is the truth is unknown.

-All of the piercings and jewelry he wears are carved out of pearl, coral, or whale bone. He uses his own teeth to do the whittling. The pink and dark blue are different kinds of pearl, the bright fuschia red is coral, and the buttermilk ones are bone.

-Has a fondness for art. If someone has an interesting enough or aesthetically pleasing tattoo/artwork on them he will not eat them.

-He is an uncle. He never appears to his sister, but will on occasion play with his nieces and nephews. (They are terrified of him but his sister is convinced they made up some sort of bogey-man)

-In his human form:
-His hair DOES get darker (That’s not a coloring mistake)
-The scars on his leg actually mildly hurt.
-His neck gills (5 just like a real tiger shark’s) become tattoos.
-Obviously his skin changes color :/


-He hates people so he never tried to fully integrate himself into ‘proper’ human society. (Hence the shipwrecked sailor look) The illegal underground circuits know of him as a maverick. Sometimes they can hire him if he’s in a good mood, or most of the time they watch out for his interference with their ‘business’ if he’s in a ‘playful’ mood.
